Bernsen takes '25 Hill' on the road
Multihyphenate Corbin Bernsen is taking his sports pic "25 Hill" on the road for a seven-city tour, starting Oct. 1-2 in Rochester, N.Y."25 Hill," which stars Bernsen, who also directed, wrote and produced, tells the story of a 12-year-old boy (Nathan Gamble), who after the death of his father, partners with a local fire chief (Bernsen) to build a soapbox derby car.The All-American Soap Box Derby has affected generations of American kids and their families," Bernsen said. "It's as American as apple pie, baseball and the county fair."At a time when we're intent on rebuilding our country, it's great to celebrate a community event that starts at the family level," Bernsen added.Bernsen will participate in a Q&A session following each screening, where he'll also stage a local soapbox derby race. Other cities include Athens, Tenn., from Oct. 22-23, Culpepper, Va., from Nov. 5-6, and Houston, which ends the tour Dec. 10-11.Home Theater Films plans to release the film spring 2012.
