Randi Zuckerberg to speak at UbiQ

PARIS -- Randi Zuckerberg, former Facebook marketing maven, Doug Scott, prexy of Ogilvy Entertainment, and Marco Ferrari, CEO of Zodiak Active, are among the industryites who will participate in the first edition of UbiQ, a two-day international digital showcase that will take place June 18-19 in Paris. UbiQ's agenda will feature showcases, workshops and speed meetings. The conference will address all forms of digital entertainment, and look at how to engage, monetize and measure return on investment. The B2B event will take place at the Palais Brongniart, the former stock market in Paris, and will draw nearly 2,000 professionals from all areas -- TV, Internet, mobile and games, said CEO of UbiQ Events, Gwenael Flatres, who previously managed the digital business development of MipTV and Mipcom. "Keynote showcases will offer the bigger picture; workshops will go into more depth; and, finally, through a series of pre-organized industry focused speed meetings, participants will have the opportunity to meet potential key partners," said Gavin McGarry, NewYork-based UbiQ conference advisor and CEO of Jumpwire.
